The pairing up of Christina Hinds and JoAnna Papageorgiou seemed a miracle, but it was no accident... Both are born of Greek fathers and American-Italian mothers, but grew up in different parts of the United States. While Christina was earning her collegiate honors as being one of the best defensive indoor players in the US, JoAnna had graduated college and was making her name known internationally, playing indoor professionally in Slovenia, France, and Greece (including playing for the Greek national team). |

Both players, on opposite sides of the world, decided to turn in their court shoes and make the switch to beach volleyball, where they discovered an even stronger passion for the game of volleyball. But fate put them together as both women decided to check out the Greek beach volleyball scene while simultaneously getting in touch with their Greek roots. They found each other through the Greek national team and underwent a brief training period with a Greek national team coach before jumping into their first international beach volleyball season together in 2007. With JoAnna's block and Christina's defense, the duo made a name for themselves even without experience together! Now, with intense training, determination, and a deep love for the game... the team prepares for their limitless success in the next season and seasons to come!
